I think of the sun as a living organism, feeding the land and humans, life.
I was inspired by walks on the trail and how sunlight shifts our awareness through its interaction with the natural elements in our environment. By using responsive materials, the piece is continuously evolving with time, frame, and atmosphere. I hope to borrow light and actively shape the experience. I believe light is an emotional and spiritual force, grounding us to the environment and one another. The installation transforms the sun’s energy into a dynamic play of color that invites viewers to look up, reflect, and harmonize.
